Lorain County Public Health Fit Walks

Free walking every Monday* and Thursday* afternoon at 5:30 p.m. No membership required and all ages are welcome. Join a Lorain County Fit Walk whenever you have time in your schedule; a weekly commitment is not necessary.

  • Mondays at 5:30 p.m. at Lorain County Metro Parks Splash Zone, 95 W. Hamilton Rd., Oberlin. Walk indoors on Splash Zone's indoor walking track or walk outdoors---it’s your choice.

  • Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. at Mercy Health & Recreation Center, 47160 Hollstein Dr., Amherst on the new walking path. Prefer the indoors? Walk indoors on the walking track and use the exercise equipment while you are there.

* No walks on holidays

The Lorain County Fit Walks is sponsored by: WOBL 1320AM/107.7FM, WDLW 1380AM/989.FM, Lorain Country Public Health, and Lorain County Metro Parks.

It is recommended that adults get at least 150 minutes of physical activity each week. Step it up this week and head to a Lorain County Fit Walk.
